Greenwich Fourth of July fireworks set for July 6 The Greenwich Department of Parks and Recreation announces the locations of the two Town Fireworks Displays in celebration of Independence Day. For the eighth consecutive year, the Town will present displays at Binney Park and Greenwich Point Park. Both displays are scheduled for Saturday, July 6, with a rain date of Sunday, July 7. Connecticut’s Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) Wildlife Division and the Friends of Sessions Woods, as part of the Year of the Snake awareness campaign with Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC), are sponsoring a special day to celebrate snakes.
