Mystic Aquarium’s 8th Annual Run Walk for the Penguins a Success
Over 800 participants gathered at Mystic Aquarium to participate in the 8th Annual Penguin Run/Walk to benefit the endangered African penguin. Taking home top honors in the Men’s division was Thomas Martin of Northford, CT, with a time of 18:16 seconds. Anne Leonard Blake of West Hartford, CT, was the Women’s Division winner with a time of 20:23 seconds.

Sherlock Holmes' newest stage adventure opens October 23

Columbo. Jessica Fletcher. Miss Marple. They may be some famous detective names that quickly come to mind, but around the globe, the best-known detective of all time is Sherlock Holmes! And for the first time, this intrepid sleuth and friends will play on Curtain Call’s Dressing Room Theatre stage beginning Thursday, October 23. Performances of Sherlock Holmes and the Adventure of The Suicide Club will play Thursday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm at The Sterling Farms Theatre Complex, 1349 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm will also be offered. Seating in The Dressing Room Theatre is cabaret-style and features a BYOEverything format. Doors open one hour before show time each day.
