Nature Notebook Programs for Children

In the spirit of No Child Left Inside® “Nature Notebook” programs for children 8-12 years of age will be offered.  Here is a chance to get the kids outside learning about and enjoying the natural world.  Kids can attend every session, or just one or more depending on their schedules.
 
In a series of programs focusing on insects (Bug Wise), aquatic life (Pond Wise) and the woods (Forest Wise,) kids will learn how to keep accurate Nature Note Books, including photos, if they bring a camera. Parents and guardians – tag along and join in on the fun.

The Center is located off Route 6 at 23 Potter Road in Hampton, CT.  From the intersection of Routes 6 and 198 in Chaplin, go east 3.1 miles on Route 6 and take a left onto Potter Road.  From the intersection of Routes 6 and 97 in Hampton, go west 1.4 miles and take a right onto Potter Road.
