Dancing by the Light of the Moon: The Art of Fred Marcellino
Monday - Saturday 9 am - 5 pm; Sundays 11am - 5 pm
Fred Marcellino was a prolific “visual communicator” who elevated the medium of illustration to an art form. We showcase the work that took Marcellino to the top of the illustration world. Visitors will recognize his hand in the cover of Tom Wolfe’s The Bonfire of the Vanities; Margaret Attwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale among others.
Original, never-exhibited material from Arrivederci, Crocodile will be shown at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center , courtesy of the artist’s family. Members: Free /Non-Members: Free with gate admission. For more information call 203.322.1646, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org, or visit www.stamfordmuseum.org
