Stamford, CT - It is a joy to discover (trash) found objects everywhere - stuff that can be turned into wonderful works of art - "Transformations".

"We are using the recycled materials to make art, just in time for everyone to start thinking about "spring cleaning" and all those goodies that can be turned into art instead of ending up in the trash can! "Don't throw that away!" I must say that to my husband at least once a week," says Susan Frey, mixed media artist and chairperson of the exhibition.

The LAA gallery will be filled with treasures from reused stuff. Artwork on display will be featuring old CD's, shredded junk mail, zippers, plastic jugs, matches, nuts, bolts, cereal boxes, teabags, and a variety of other household and organic items. Please join the 15 LAA members participating in this whimsical show!
