Norwalk, CT - In a transaction arranged by CBRE Group, Family & Children’s Agency signed a 10-year, 9,000-square-foot lease at the freestanding property at 140 Water Street in Norwalk, CT, which is owned by David Anspach. The non-profit human service organization is relocating from a nearby 6,000-square-foot property.

CBRE’s David Block and Barbara Segalini-Stilley negotiated the long-term lease on behalf of Family & Children’s Agency, while Silver Pine Real Estate of Wilton, CT represented the building ownership.

“The property at 140 Water Street is an excellent location within the Norwalk marketplace,” said Ms. Segalini-Stilley, who serves as vice president at CBRE. “With the success of the Family & Children’s Agency’s local operations, there was a need for a larger space, and 140 Water Street afforded the non-profit the opportunity to relocate to a more expansive property without having to move away from its community base.”

According to Robert Cashel, President and CEO of Family & Children’s Agency, “Our firm has experienced tremendous growth over the past few years, which necessitated the move to a larger space in order to better serve the community with our range of needs-based services. The freestanding building will also afford us the opportunity to incorporate our own branding throughout the property.”

With over 70 years of experience and expertise in the delivery of high quality human services, Family & Children’s Agency provides strength-based, solution focused services that respond to the individual needs of children and families, youth, adults and seniors.
